NNAS assessment report – canada

NNAS Assessment – Canada (National Nursing Assessment Service) is an Organization. That provides assessments of the education and qualifications of internationally educated nurses (IENs) who wish to work in Canada. The NNAS assessment is designed to determine whether an IEN meets the required measure. Those are knowledge, skills, and experience to practice as a nurse in Canada.

The purpose of the application process is to create an Advisory Report that includes an evaluation of your education. It is based on Canadian standards and comparing it to current Canadian nursing requirements.

The NNAS assessment process consists of three stages. That are:

  1. Eligibility assessment: This stage involves reviewing an IEN’s education and qualifications to determine whether they meet the minimum requirements to be eligible for an NNAS assessment.
  2. Credential assessment: This stage involves reviewing an IEN’s education and qualifications in more detail. To determine how they compare to the education and qualifications required for nursing in Canada. This assessment includes a review of the IEN’s transcripts, course descriptions, and any relevant professional experience.
  3. Registration assessment: This stage involves a review of an IEN’s application for nursing registration in a specific Canadian jurisdiction. The NNAS Assessment – Canada provides the results of the credential assessment to the nursing regulatory body in the jurisdiction. The regulatory body then uses this information to determine whether the IEN is eligible to register as a nurse in that jurisdiction.

The NNAS assessment process can be a lengthy and complex process, and it is important for IENs to understand the requirements and the steps involved in order to successfully complete the assessment and become eligible to practice as a nurse in Canada.
